  • *****

Best sushi in TriCities along with staff. One of the best restaurant staff I have seen. Kind, efficient and friendly.

  • *****

Good lunch place for the wife and I love their sushi and always quick to attend us.

  • *****

Before my husband & I could walk in with our baby in her car seat, the waiter met us at the door to open it for us. Not only that, he accommodated our babys car seat at our seating area for us to be comfortable, without asking. The waiter was attentive & kind. We had exceptional customer service by Gabriel! Thank you!!! We definitely will be back, food was good too!

  • *****

Gabriel was our server he was fabulous. Super attentive and helpful he recommended a Japanese beer called Sapporo it was very tasty and the glass was so chilled. We had chicken yakisoba, the yummy crunch roll, the cali crunch, Godzilla roll , spicy shrimp roll and ichi roll. The food is exceptional!

Excellent food and always good service! My go to is a sunshine roll amd tuna hand roll with eel sauce.

  • *****

  • *****

Food is always great, one of my favorite sushi places! It's a seat yourself, our 4 top only had 2 menus at it so I just yoinked one from the other empty table, no big deal. Took a few minutes before we got a server over but not bad. The place is bright and cute!

  • *****

Sushi is always delicious and the staff is amazing

  • *****

This was a great place to go, got my hair cut then went to lunch with my son next door. Real crab in the crab puffs! Don't find that often...worth it for sure, and the staff was awesomely friendly to me and my 8yr old son!

  • *****

This is the best sushi for the money in the tri cities. Its so fresh, the portion sizes are awesome and its just consistently good enough to bring tears to my eyes. Bravo

  • *****

Im a newbie to the sushi world and this place has been so great at describing and recommending dishes to try!

  • *****

Nice service and nice tasting food. I had the dinner bento ($18.95) and double dragon ($14.95). The sushi was delicious but there was a noticeable difference in the fish cutting. Luckily my server was nice and replaced the paper thin sliced fish for a more adequate piece. The unagi was amazing and I would return just for that.

  • *****

Pretty good place. I enjoyed the food for the price. Personally I felt the yakisoba is a bit heavy on sauce, the Wasabi was a little weak and the chopsticks were very low quality. But the katzu was very good as was the sunshine roll.

  • *****

Now this is a tiny restaurant with big flavor. If you like sushi, they have a varied menu. They also have teriyaki, katsu, udon and other options. Worth the visit and the folks were great!

  • *****

Don't sleep on Sushi Mori! The restaurant is nestled in the corner of a little shopping strip mall between Costco and the mall. We arrived during peak dinner time and were greeted and shown to our table right away. The menu has lots of options to choose from. We like to order a few different rolls and menu items to share family style. The food was fresh and very tasty! I highly recommend giving Sushi Mori a try! Great service, food and prices were very reasonable.

    Favorite sushi place, never disappointed!

Reneau was outstanding with helping us select. Sushi was fresh and affordable. I will return to try Godzilla rolls.

  • *****

Food was amazing. Perfectly cooked rice thats easy to eat with chop sticks. Beef yajisoba was great! Not over cooked beef. Cut thin. Double dragon roll was also awesome. A little on the light side for the eel portions that I'm used to in dragon rolls. Was in town for work and was really surprised to find a great place for sushi. I moved from Alaska and have had a hard time to find places that made me want to return. This definitely will be a place I eat at again!

Also Bentos are delicious here. Seriously I liked everything Ive tried so far. If you havent been here yet, go try it, you might find a new favorite sushi spot.

Seriously the best sushi in Tri-Cities in my opinion. I have been coming here since 2008 and I've never had a bad experience. It's reasonably priced the customer service is great and it always feels like an intimate experience rather than a huge restaurant.

  • *****

The food is always so good! And the beautiful girl with the gorgeous eyes is always so so sweet, she even recommended me a great sci-fi book. Only thing is thats its so hot in there, I felt so bad for the workers. I couldnt eat my food in there and had to box it up to go. Please turn up the AC!

I had heard of this restaurant for many, many years before I ultimately settled on trying it on Thursday August 26th. Like I have said in past review specifically of sushi restaurants, I have been opening my palate.

Immediately upon entering I could appreciate the cleanliness and how neat the tables were setup. Tables for two, four and giant tables. Keep in mind however this restaurant is not huge. It is rather pretty small. It was sufficient enough but due to COVID some tables weren't available.

Now, onto the menu. I was starving so I had to get some big rolls. I knew the Tiger Roll had to be tested for quality and one specialty roll. It took me a while but I settled onto the Godzilla Roll. I was definitely a little nervous on the specialty roll but sushi chefs excel not only in presentation but also in making sure the customer itself is satisfied.

I ordered no imitation crab on both my rolls. Other than that I kept everything else the same. The first batch of sushi came with the crab but the waitress noticed as she walked to my table. I appreciate her attention to that detail and saved me from needing a emergency room visit.

When the sushi came through without the crab, I was astonished. That Godzilla Roll deserves every bit of its name; that tempura was sticking out on the first piece like Godzilla's back. Drizzled with beautiful colored sauces and slices aligned, stacked so neatly onto the plate. This roll gets a 10 in presentation, taste, delicacy and every darn element. A tad spicy but I did enjoy that.

So I tried the Tiger Roll and it was not much spefial. Definetely a 8.5 as it is not as fancy as other tiger rolls but it didn't dissapoint. Not much ontop gave it that basic most people would enjoy. I would've loved avocado and shrimp ontop but hey, it's not my recipe. I appreciate how you guys kept it basic.

Now, I can finish two rolls of sushi most of the time but this was an exception. That Godzilla roll had me on the edge all the time as I tried to finish the last 4 pieces. I decided to take them home. The crunch of that entire roll was soooo tasty and for some reason the avocado did not taste funny after being fried, it kept its freshness. That detail made me so impressed, a feat not achieved by every sushi shop.

At last, their wasabi consistency is very soft and I had never seen that before. Usually wasabi is a bit flaky but not Mori's and I enjoyed that. I could be far more precise in adding wasabi and not killing my tongue.

I will be back, I promise. I enjoyed the Godzilla roll far too much.

Update on May 27th 2022, the food is still amazing! So is the service!

After eating teriyakki in Seattle for thirty years, in my opinion this is the best the Tri has to offer.

This is one of those places that people never get to explore because it's in a small area that's less investigated.
I would highly recommend this sushi restaurant because I feel it's one of the nicer ones in the Tri cities.
It is too bad it's in such a small pocket in an uninvestigated area , I give them 5 stars for the excellent taste of their food

  • *****

Cute little place, waitress was super nice. Not a fancy restaurant, casual dining, played music that was cool. We got sushi rolls, I do have my super favorite sushi restaurant, however, if I were in the area, this would be good. My daughter got the chicken teriyaki, yes it came in a boat, so fun. Salad, rice, chicken were very delicious. I got the Geisha roll because I love cream cheese, someone else recommended it in their review, it was good in flavor& texture. The wasabi was super hot, just like I like it. My other daughter got the Fuji roll, she likes a lot of different fish in her sushi, she liked the flavor of sauces& textures. They have pics on the wall so you know just what you are ordering. We also got the vegetable tempura, came with enough for 3-4 people & the portion was good sized. Dipping sauce is perfect.

Also Bentos are delicious here. Seriously I liked everything I’ve tried so far. If you haven’t been here yet, go try it, you might find a new favorite sushi spot.

  • *****

I’ve been going there for years, food is amazing and they have friendly staff! My go-to spot. ?

  • *****

Great food and even better customer service. I recommend the Yummy Crunch roll on egg wrap.

  • *****

Absolutely delicious, the Server/Host Brittney is amazing and so nice! Highly recommended!

  • *****

I love the food it's awesome every time I go and I will always go there one of my favourite places...

  • *****

I rarely give 5 stars, but I have been a couple times this week and still agree it's the best sushi I have had in the Tri Cities.

  • *****

Reneau was outstanding with helping us select. Sushi was fresh and affordable. I will return to try Godzilla rolls.

  • *****

    Quality food!

My favorite sushi in tri cities! Fresh and delicious! Great prices and service!

  • *****

I gave this 5 star review 3 years ago and I came back to edit this review because it’s still the best sushi in the Tri-Cities area!

  • *****

This place is so amazing and the sushi is delicious! The staff is great!!!

Great sushi, modest prices, good service

    Good prices, and quantity
Had a bento box very good can't speak to the raw sushi but they have many kinds of cooked or non raw sushi

  • *****

Been going there so long we now have Birthday celebrations there!

  • *****

I love this place, so does my family. This is the only place in tri-cities to get decent sushi.

  • *****

All their rolls are delicious and fresh! If you're not a sushi fan, they have teriyaki and yakisoba options as well.

  • *****

Sushi Mori is our family’s favorite sushi spot!! The food is always delicious, great customer service, they never disappoint. My favorites are the yummy crunch and Chicken Yakisoba. I highly recommend this place.

  • *****

The sushi was tasty and fresh. The teriyaki was good. Seating was a little cramped, but it's just a little place. Quaint. Service was above average. Pricing was fair. Hours more convenient than some surrounding sushi places. Would absolutely come back.

  • *****

Best sushi place in the Tri-Cities. I normally get their bento box or spicy tuna roll.

  • *****

if you want some good japanese food and not break your wallet, this is your stop. tatse good, but don't expect authentic.

  • *****

Favorite sushi place in Tricities! I've been coming here for over 5 years, great service, delicious food! Favorites: Every roll off the board, especially the Geisha. A really delicious Tempura Udon soup as well! The best!

  • *****

I love sushi. Hard to believe I've lived in the Tri-Cities for so long and have not had sushi here. Well for most of my time there haven't been many options.

Well, tonight (Saturday) I was up for trying something new, and I was thinking sushi. Unfortunately, it was late....well 8:30pm is late for the Tri-Cities, and our choices were scarily limited. Gave a call to Sushi Mori and they said they were open till 9pm and that they still take take away orders.

So, I ended up ordering about (4) rolls, (1)nigiri, & a miso soup. They said it would be ready in 15 min. We ended up getting there a little late, but it was no problem. It was closing time, but there were 20 people still in the dining area.

After we got home, I have to say that Sushi Mori didn't disappoint. Finally sushi in the Tri-Cities. The Spider, Shrimp Tempura, and California Rolls were on point, and I got totally stuffed munching on them. Now I have a long list of other rolls to try on future trips. Let's do it.

Oh, one mistake which happened was that instead of a Chicken Teriyaki Roll, I ended up getting a Chicken Teriyaki plate....I made my order from the Sushi Mori website (they also have a store on the "west side"). Oh well, atleast I have something for lunch tomorrow.

  • *****

One of the first true Sushi bars in town was a warm welcome to many, my kids love eating here and we have had birthday gatherings here as well. Great service great prices great portions and very clean. Not to mention the Sushi its yummy. Love this place. I just wish that they had more traditional Tempura not tempura pancakes or grilled tempura shrimp they also use panko breaded shrimp in the sushi and say its Tempura. Other than that it s perfect.

  • *****

Sushi Mori was the place we came to when we visited Kennewick, and now that I live here I go even more. Always fresh, always great food.

  • *****

Though a new place has recently opened, in tricities there are not a lot of choices for Sushi, especially for lunch.

We have eaten at Sushi Mori countless times. They have a good selection of rolls, and the salmon and tuna nigiri are typically very good. The service has always been outstanding. Our kids have gone with us a few times and enjoyed some of the tempura offerings.

We probably eat lunch here more than any other single place in the area. We've never been disappointed.

  • *****

Great place to eat, one of the best Asian places in our area. All the rolls are great!! The fish is cut fresh and you can really tell the difference. I highly recommend trying sushi mori out!

  • *****

I tried the spider rolls upon request of a friend. They were delicious. The the 2nd time I went back we tried the spicy tuna, and the spicy salmon. The tuna was the best by far. The salmon was just as expected from earlier reviews from everyone else who had tried the salmon on yelp before me. I love this place and eating here

  • *****

Sushi Mori has a new owner. They've updated the decor and menu. The quality of the food is better as well. I mentioned in my previous review, Sushi Ya is a better alternative...I think its an equal alternative. If you're near the mall or Costco with an appetite for Sushi there's no need to go out of your way, go to Sushi Mori.

  • *****

Had a great lunch. Haven't been there in a few years. Glad I stopped in. Udon was perfect. Fish rice was fresh and now they give you the Korean sauce in a jug to spray on at your own risk. Tempura wasn't greasy and miso soup was hot and tasty. Beer came cold and glasses frosty. Service was friendly and outgoing. Prices seem right in line with what you get. Glad to have my old lunch spot back!

  • *****

I always enjoy coming here for lunch or dinner for when I am in the mood for sushi. I have never had a problem in finding a table and enjoying my food at a reasonable time. This is actually a great place for a date (That is if your date likes sushi) because there is either the movie theater or frozen yogurt place right by Sushi Mori. Overall, this place can make some pretty good sushi.

  • *****

Best sushi in the Tri-cities! always fresh (tasting at least!) and always friendly service. fast too.

  • *****

Not bad! Not my favorite. But always fresh tasting and they are open when my favorite sushi place is closed, which is a serious bonus! Good, friendly service!

  • *****

My first shot at Sushi here, not too shabby.

It's pricey, but I guess I'm used to living in a city where you can find sushi on every corner and half priced specials.

I'd be interested in trying more of their menu, with sauce on the side, I'm not too fond of the weird stuff they decide on putting on top. The young girl working was super friendly, fast and on top of her game.

  • *****

I LOVE this place. Its my favorite for sure! Its a super chill atmosphere and delicious food!

  • *****

WOW, I'm tempted to go 5 stars. I don't think a restaurant has ever gotten me out of a bad mood.

Had a good day until I had to deal with TracFone support (forgot my phone so bought a cheap one for this week). Only $9.99 plus a card, so not a big deal money wise but their support stinks.

I was planning on a Mexican place but they didn't do take out (can't put something in a box?) so I was on my way to another Asian place but saw this.

Walked into the perfect lighting - not too bright, not too dim. I was greeted right away and asked if I had any questions as I looked at the menu board.

I decided on the Chicken Teriyaki and 1 egg roll to go. They passed the beer test with flying colors (if the food is done before I can finish a beer it's not that fresh).

Several customers made small talk as I waited. One was certainly a regular, telling her companion what she usually gets. I browsed one of the many magazines at the waiting table.

I have to say the girl who took my order is what brought me out of my funk. So nice, professional (and pretty). She was right on top of everything, including taking care of the customers in the dining area.

My food was excellent! A huge portion of chicken and sticky rice and a very good egg roll. I ate more than I should have.

Very nice, if somewhat small, place.

    I like.

  • *****

Nice bento box selection for lunch! Between $11-15. Darn good sushi in the middle of Eastern WA.

  • *****

Best sushi in the area, hands down. Fresh tasting fish and when you order sushi, it comes out pretty fast. Definitely our go to sushi place in the area.

  • *****

I love this place. Very casual atmosphere - a tiny restaurant that you jut walk in and seat yourself. The staff is always friendly and quick to serve. I don't eat sushi, but this is my husband's favorite spot for it. I personally love their beef teriyaki. It's a little spendy, but always fresh and quick. A great date night location.

  • *****

    YESSSSS
Love this place! Good vegetarian sushi options (vegan friendly!) and not crazy expensive! This place is really popular, and for good reason. Plan your dinner arrival accordingly! It's my go-to for sushi in Tri-Cities (sorry Sushi Ya, you too expensive!).
    Love the yakisoba and tempura.

Small gripe: past two times I've been there has been a full house and only ONE person working outside the kitchen (taking orders, delivering food, processing payment). Sloooow service.

  • *****

Have to say I have not found a sushi place I am in love with since moving from the East coast. But Sushi Mori, has given me hope. Their quality is great, and the taste is really good and fast. Not to mention their customer service is really awesome! I ordered carryout and the lady who checked me out, was very nice. I would have given them a 5, but they are a bit on the spendy side of sushi here in the TriCities.

  • *****

I give this place 4 stars considering I haven't seen too many sushi spots here in the tri-cities and it's actually not bad at all. Prices are decent. Lobster salad roll is a must try!

  • *****

Great a la carte sushi menu. Fish is fresh, and specialty rolls are awesome....try the New Mexico Roll.

  • *****

Favorites are the salmon teriyaki and sunshine roll. The servers are always friendly and they remember me when I come in!

The green tea is fantastic and rich. It's opaque in color and a deep green! It's a genmaicha so it's quite smooth.

The ginger ice cream is also really really good. And I can't come here without getting a miso soup; sometimes I have 2 soups!

  • *****

I am a loyal customer of 4 years and know the owners very well.

I'd like to apologize for any of you who had a bad experience in the past.

For the people that are comparing the food to others. Last time I checked there different restaurants that have different cooks and recipes. All sushi joints are family owned and not corporate chains. They all probably use family recipes. That's what separates businesses.

When you complain about the prices, I laugh. Because, the prices are very similar to everyone else in the Tri-Citie. In fact, sushimori's rolls are actually bigger than most places, so you do get your moneys worth. If you go to a big town, expend to pay $10-$12 rolls.

For the person that saw the Costco salmon, they do serve salmon teriyaki.

For the person that's complaining about servers doing homework. Shame on you for discrediting someone getting an education while learning how to earn money and have a job. I'm sure most of you were like that at one point in your life. Going to school, trying to earn money and survive financially. I know plenty of high school kids that don't do their homework, don't have a job. Those kids you should complaint about. That's who we are leaving the future to.

Sushimori is not just sushi. They do offer a selection of teriyaki and yakisoba for those narrow minded people who do not want to try sushi.

One bad experience should not keep you from going back. So come back, get to know the owners because they actually appreciate their customer and know the regulars by name.

  • *****

When ever I think sushi, I think Sushi Mori. This place is the best in town! Better than Mizu, Sushi Ya, Sakura, Osaka and Subs n Jean. Combined! Even when I have sushi out of town, even out of state, I always compare to Sushi Mori because they are the best and the portion size is more than generous. And I've had a lot of sushi.

The great thing about this place is that they don't just serve sushi. They have beef, chicken, and salmon teriyaki plates, yakisoba, katsu, udon, and fish rice salad. This place is amazing. I always keep coming back.

  • *****

I've been coming here for about 3 years, and I LOVE it. Annie and her staff always remember what I want down to the appetizers, and its always consistent! I can't recommend it enough. Try the gyoza and definitely the tempura vegetables! They're also open to custom orders! Love this place.

  • *****

One of my favorite sushi places in the TC! I will readily admit I'm not a 'normal' sushi eater. I don't like anything raw, nor am I a major fan of fish. So my usuals are the Yummy Crunch or Spicy Shrimp roll. The Chicken Teriyaki is also one of my favorites! The food is delicious, the service is always topnotch. The only reason for a 4/5 is due to price. While sushi is typically expected to be pricier, I can go to another place that is better quality and more authentic (like real crab is used instead of imitation crab, and you get a thicker, more fresh tasting roll) for the same price. But I do really love Sushi Mori, and it's become a favorite of mine for lunches during work.

  • *****

Favorite place for me and the family to eat sushi. Great quality and prices. Only thing that makes it 4 vs 5 is I wish they had a greater variety of sushi.

  • *****

Sushi Mori has the friendliest, most accurate servers in the Tri. Even when the place is crowded and there's only one server, our tea and meals are still brought to the table quickly and with a smile.

And the food -- oh the food! The sushi is fresh and amazing and has never disappointed. I was also surprised to discover that this place has the best teriyaki I've had in the Tri-Cities. I particularly recommend their tofu salad; it's fresh and light and perfect for lunch on a hot summer day.

I love this place and wish that I could give it a few extra stars!

  • *****

Ordered seaweed salad, house salad, maguro and a geisha roll. All were delicious! I would come back here again!

  • *****

Love their portions, way better than the sushi trains. Wonderful service & appetizers. Ichi roll was great

  • *****

This is my favorite sushi place in town. Their menu is not very extensive, but the quality and flavor is very, very good. I don't like cream cheese in my sushi, so I wish they had a few more rolls without the cream cheese, but there are still several rolls that I love. My favorite is the Arizona roll. Their miso soup is perfect! They also happen to have the best teriyaki I've tried in Tri-cities, so even if you don't like sushi, they have some menu items for you.

  • *****

I was looking for a good Sushi place here in Tri Cities, I was checking out reviews. This place seemed to have all good reviews so we gave it a try. It is a small place and it was about 3/4 full when we walked in. Two large groups and neither one had their food so I thought this might be a really long wait. We sat down and within 30 seconds, we were greeted and menus delivered. Everything looked appetizing but finally decided and it was less than 5 minutes and our order was taken. Now for the long wait I thought. The other two tables were served in record time and in less than 8 minutes, here came our food, wow! The Cali Crunch was to die for and I will return just for that alone. The California Roll (Hand Roll) was outstanding. Large portions, staff was very fast and very friendly. We used to have to go to Ellensburg for good Sushi, but no longer. Sushi Mori is now a favorite for us. Give it a try, price is very fair and not over priced. We had three entrees and an appetizer with two sodas and the bill was only $31.

  • *****

Excellent service and great veggie rolls for a plant based diet. Best green tea in town.

  • *****

This is my wife's favorite sushi place (I am not a big sushi fan) and we always eat here when in Tricities. The prices are way better than Aloha Sushi and the rest are much better too. They have very good teriyaki chicken, which is what I get.

  • *****

My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday evening. We were able to sit right away but the place filled quickly! I had a veggie roll, salad and miso soup. The boyfriend got a Seattle roll and a spicy tuna roll. We were very satisfied, the food was excellent. The service, however, was not. There was only one server for a pretty crowded dining room and she was nice but not terribly attentive. We would definitely come back there are a few other rolls that look amazing but we likely would try for an early dinner to get better service.

  • *****

I love their sushi!! It's amazing and they are courteous. I've just started delving into the world of sushi and am finding I love it. Sushi mori Las Vegas and cali toll are good, and the Mido is excellent!

  • *****

Best Shushi place in the tricities. Everything is fresh and delicious. I have eaten here several times and it's never a disappointment. Cali crunch, spicy tuna and spicy shrimp are my favorites. Staff is friendly.

  • *****

They tend to be busy, especially on the weekend evenings. The food is pretty good, not my favorite sushi in town but still good stuff. The hot food is great, we like to get a few rolls and split something hot.

  • *****

There are not too many good Asian restaurants in town, but for a sushi place, this is pretty good. It's incredibly tasty and has decent prices for the food. I only wish they had all you can eat! We will be going back for sure.

  • *****

Some of the best sushi in town for the area! I have eaten at many of the other places in town, they were good until I ate at Sushi Mori! Now I can't even go back to there other places! It is hands down the best!

Clearly it gets better as you get closer to the coast!

  • *****

Our favorite sushi place in town. This is not Seattle or Portland but they do have great rolls and nigiri. I also like their quick service. I am a regular there and am happy to support this establishment.

  • *****

We love Sushi Mori! It's absolutely amazing!! The service is great and fast! The sushi is the best in the Tri-cities.

  • *****

The side salad was crunchy and very refreshing (maybe the best dish I had here). The spacing between tables could use some "air". My chair was just a couple inches from from the opposite person. It was a little awkward trying to tune out the other couple's conversation.... Other than that, the service was surprisingly fast considering the restaurant was full and people were waiting outside all aided by ONE waiter.

  • *****

Used to be my favorite sushi place until I discovered Sakura which is excellent. I was disappointed my last two visits - the portions seem smaller and I think the food is always fresh but the taste was just not quite as great as I recall. Mainly disappointed in the portion size. I do like this place and gave it a 4 star, but it is no Sakura and not my first choice for sushi.

  • *****

Adore this little gem! So glad that we have good sushi and Japanese food here! Totally love the Cali crunch too but my family goes nuts for their Vegas roll (fried with cooked salmon), ichi roll (eel with this crazy good eel sauce that tastes like teriyaki), and geisha (fried with cream cheese). Also they had a very flavorful udon which is awesome because there are many Japanese places that don't have udon. Lunch bentos are very affordable and I think this is place is so yummy and delicious without being super pricey like other sushi places. Also shoutout to Izaak for always being incredibly patient with my family during our Sunday lunches.

  • *****

I like sushi, as a number of my reviews attest. I've made sushi at home, read up on how to make sushi and generally enjoy the whole Japanese food and sushi experience. I hope someday to go to Japan and try their sushi bars.

Sushi Mori is a very decent sushi restaurant. Small, maybe a dozen small tables, but well laid out it provides pretty decent sushi for the price. Sushi is all about the rice and Sushi Mori makes decent tasting rice; slightly sweet with a pleasant mouth feel. Their fish is fresh with a clean taste with reasonable prices to make the overall experience good.

My wife and I also like the bento plates which feature good portions, lots of variety (some sushi, gyoza or eggroll, salad, sop etc.) and fast service. All of their dishes are available for takeout which is the only option if you come in near closing.

    Recommended for your sushi fix...

  • *****

Delicious sushi, fantastic staff and atmosphere, and all-around wonderful place to be. They are happy to work with you, food is fresh and great-tasting, and quick.

  • *****

They have a really great selection of sushi. I tried the Rainbow roll first and absolutely love it! My husband had the Seattle roll also which is your basic sushi roll. I would suggest trying those rolls topped with a sauce, they are my fav!

  • *****

Pretty good, not the fastest service because there's usually only one server but the food is worth the wait.

  • *****

Good cute little place for sushi. I had the yummy crunch roll and the spider roll, both very good.

  • *****

Love Sushi Mori! Come here regularly with my wife and have never been disappointed. The spider roll is my favorite, but they have rolls for all preferences. Lunch specials here are to die for as well. Sushi Mori is the only place I recommend for a casual sushi dining in Tri Cities!

  • *****

Great place for sushi! Try the sunshine roll, geisha roll is good too. My daughter likes the cali roll but uses rice paper instead.

  • *****

I love sushi, and this by far the best sushi restaurant around. I order their spicy tuna roll with lots of wasabi or their bento box. Both options are at a fair price, and it's well decorated with Japanese art. I recommend this place if you love sushi or chicken teriyaki.

  • *****

Solid sushi. The service was so quick! Our server was great. We got a Sunshine Roll (just watch out, they put sauce all over it), a Chicken Bento, and a Sushi Bento. This place hit the spot. We will be going there again!

  • *****

Never noticed this place. Came to the area to try out the new place right next door. I'm assuming this place has been around first since the place I initially wanted to try with my co-worker was suppose to have opened but for some reason they were closed when we visited. Long story short, I am so gald that restaurant delayed their opening bc sushi mori was a gem in disguise. didn't expect much going in only bc the place looked tiny from the outside and somewhat dated but once we went in the place was packed and it was only lunch time. we thought we had to wait long but no, the waiter asked us nicely to wait a couple minutes and we were seated rather quickly. Their menu had a good variety, I'm a huge sushi person and my co worker not so much so it worked out perfectly. Our food came out really quickly despite the rush. The food was amazing. Had ordered the geisha and paradise (huge tuna lover) and they were awesome! My co worker ordered his beef yakisoba and the protion was huge! We both enjoyed our meal very much. The waiter was also very professional and well spoken. This place will def be my goto sushi place from now on!

  • *****

I'm not a huge teriyaki eater but when I crave it, there's only I place I go to in this area. Sushi Mori always tastes and smells like it's made fresh-to-order unlike some places where it's all precooked and reheated when it's ordered.

I've tried their sushi and it's ok but not where I'd regularly go for sushi. However, if you keep it simple like spicy tuna, you'll be fine.

  • *****

Best tuna sashimi I've ever had. Extremely fresh, tender, and very slightly frosty. Wasabi was excellent. Very hot. Their miso soup is also great. Exceptional service every visit.

  • *****

This place is the best sushi place in Tri-Cities. Sushi Mori is amazing! Sushi is suppose to be raw but they also have cooked shrimp, crab or smoked eel for those who don't eat raw. Clean, friendly place and their customer service is great! I love this place

  • *****

Favorite place to eat sushi in tri cities. Katsu, tempura, and of course the rolls are good.

  • *****

Favorite sushi place! Their spicy tuna roll is the bomb and their staff is super nice :)

  • *****

This place is always amazing. We go here very often and always have a great time. The sushi is delicious along with the chicken teriyaki. The customer service is always amazing. They are quick with your food and always check up on you for beverage refills. All around my girlfriend and I have always enjoyed this place! I would recommend it for sure.

  • *****

This is my favorite Sushi place. The staff are wonderful. The spider roll is very taste.

  • *****

Let's just say one thing... The sunshine roll and the spicy shrimp tempura roll definitely make my heart happy. My boyfriend and I are officially hooked on Sushi Mori.

  • *****

I love this place, service is great. It's not the fancy restaurant style, it's more kick back style. Very open atmosphere, not real private.

  • *****

Good to go! Literally.... always get there chicken teriyaki bento box and Geisha roll(bomb!) to go... staff is always friendly over the phone(unlike their sushi neighbor).. food is always fresh and consistent... this place or no place... for sushi and teriyaki!!

  • *****

Clean place, friendly staff. Chicken yokisoba was good with freshly cooked broccoli and the portions here are large. The spider roll was very good with a nice presentation. Wish the tea was more authentic.

  • *****

best, absolutely best, and most favorite sushi spot in tri. their only flaw? they're closed tuesday's.

  • *****

The food here is *always* so darn good, consistent and fresh and I've been coming here for years. They serve some of the best eel I've ever had so if you like eel definitely try their Double Dragon roll. The New Mexico roll is my personal favorite.

Also, try the Udon soup! The broth they use is superb and it is surprisingly filling.

The cleanliness of the building, friendly wait staff and beautiful food presentation also makes coming here an enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend.

  • *****

My family's favorite place to eat. The food is great, the service is excellent, my only complaint is that they need a bigger venue. They're the best.

  • *****

Great food, fast at getting the food out but unfriendly wait staff. I would suggest it if u want quick good sushi.

  • *****

The best sushi restaurant in town! We've tried everything and this is the one! Would recommend it to anyone we know.

  • *****

Great service greeted right away and had food in less then 5 minutes even though it was pretty busy. Ordered the Bento box was pretty good. The place looks very kids friendly. Bathroom very clean. Will be back when We're In town again.

  • *****

Everything we ordered was delicious! Very friendly and attentive staff. We will be back.

  • *****

I visited Sushi Mori for the first time yesterday and I definitely told them I'd be a recurring customer.

I needed some soup on a cold day so I got this - the Beef Curry Udon. It was a little spicy and had a great curry flavors. It was full of veggies and beef and the Udon were cooked perfectly. Th bowl was HUGE so it was definitely worth $11.95. I highly recommend you try it next time you visit.

As an appetizer, my party got gyoza (delicious and perfectly crisp with a sweet green onion type oil/sauce - sorry, I don't know the name) and edamame (my friends said it was a little harder here than most places but still had good flavor).

On friend got the Cali Crunch Roll - no complaints there. It had a nice portion of each ingredient and a great price point of $7.95.

Another friend got the Chicken Bento Box - again, no complains. You can choose between egg rolls or gyoza, so she got egg rolls. You get a nice heap of salad, chicken teriyaki, Cali Rolls, and rice. A great amount of food for $13.95.

I can't wait to go back and try their other sushi but the Beef Curry Udon is a must try!

Mori's is a place you can count on for very good Japanese cuisine never to disappoint! They serve a wide variety of fresh sushi and offer excellent teriyaki, udon, etc. The Paradise roll is the bomb with fresh ahi, spicy sauce, tobiko, and crab. We have some very serious food allergies and these guys always accommodate. The service carries on as our very consistent neighborhood comfort place. LOVE MORI!!

Las Vegas roll can't be beat. This place is so yummy. I've tried every roll and that's my favorite. It is spicy. My husband likes the teriyaki chicken. He's not a sushi fan but he will eat the Las Vegas with me.

Excellent. I don't usually enjoy Udon and I was seriously out ordered when my wife ordered the Udon and I ordered the teriyaki. Sushi was good as well! Enjoy!

I had California Crunch Sushi Roll and it was delicious! I had been wanting to go back to this place and certainly enjoyed it!

Little sushi gem in the Tri-Cities area. Super friendly service, great food and affordable prices. Had the miso soup, gyoza, dinner bento and unagi don over two meals. Highly recommended!

Even the miso soup is very, very good. Real tofu, lots of wakame, and real miso that you can taste is not cheap instant. Every fish in the chirashi bowl tastes fresh. Casual atmosphere, very serious about the food quality.

My wife and I both love sushi. We have lived in many places across the United States and tried many different sushi restaurants. Today for lunch we were both very impressed with the excellent food provided at sushi Mori. We had the privilege of meeting the owner and experienced exceptional service by the staff. If I could give six stars I would. The food presentation was excellent as well as the flavor. We had miso soup, edamame , Tiger roll, rainbow roll, New Mexico roll, geisha role, and California roll. My personal favorite was the geisha roll but they were all excellent. This is easily the best sushi restaurant in all of the Tri-Cities. He must try for any real foodie.

Stopped in for lunch on Sunday, had wonderful, friendly, quick service. Kids enjoyed chicken teriyaki, (oldest one had veggie udon), while my husband and I enjoyed sushi. It had been while since I'd had sushi and was craving it, Sushi Mori did not disappoint! We will return.

    Always fantastic
I found this sushi place on a yahoo website when I went looking for local sushi places, this little restraunt was a hidden gem, The ratings were very high. Its a small place very quiet. Wich is why I think the sushi is always fresh , made as ordered and never ahead of time. The people that work there are always friendly and I enjoy the food everytime I have gone in to order, not to mention the prices are very reasonable especially for the size and quality. I would deffinately recomend this place if you in the mood for some take out or a nice sit in lunch or dinner with friends.

My favorite sushi place in Tri Cities
It's got a casual atmosphere, kid friendly and reasonably priced. I've never had any issues with customer service, in fact the last time my husband and took our four daughters to dinner there, the chef brought out a complimentary plate of sushi because he was impressed when the 3&4 year olds could use chopsticks.
